Heal & Son Golden Mahogany Writing Table
-Welcome to Mersham Manor Antiques-
An elegant good quality Victorian golden mahogany writing or side table of excellent quality. Made by-Heal & Son, established in 1810. Cabinet-makers and upholsterers, of Tottenham Court Road London.
c.1870.
The top of rectangular form, with cross-banding, having a newly fitted burgundy red, gold-tooled leather writing surface, over two mahogany lined drawers, with turned ebonised handles.
Good colour to the golden mahogany.
Standing on turned, tapering supports.
A super quality, elegant little writing table.
In excellent antique condition. Leather new so unused.
Very solid, sturdy, strong and robust.
The dimensions are.
Height-74.5cm Height to underside of the table-60.3cm.
Width-77cm.
Depth-45.5cm.
