Railroad grade size 18 Hampden 'New Railway' 23 jewel pocket watch in double signed salesman case measuring 53.8 mm in diameter and dating to c1899.

White enamel double sunk dial signed 'Hampden Watch Co.' with black Roman numerals and red Arabic 5 minute outer track, blued steel spade hands and subsidiary seconds dial. In excellent condition having no hairlines, chips or discolouration.

The salesman case with bevelled crystals to front and back and both signed 'Dueber - Hampden' to the top of the bezels. In excellent condition with no dings or scratching of note.

The RR grade stem wind, lever set, size 18 full plate nickel movement with gilt lettering and damascening, 23 jewels, patent regulator, adjusted to positions & temperature, screw-set jewelling etc. In superb condition and working order.

Please Note: There is no bow to this watch as it is for sales promotion by a salesman or in a shop and never intended to be worn.

A great addition to your collection and getting quite difficult to find especially in this condition. We only accept payment via PayPal as we do not have the facility to process payments by other methods.
