A World War 2 period Hamilton aircraft navigating master chronometer watch. The original case bearing the MOD broad arrow, hydrographic department 'watch deck' with serial number 1300. An original ticket shows it being released from the MOD in 1974. A mahogany case with leather padding to the top and watch surround. An enamel dial with broad arrow mark and sweep seconds signed 'HAMILTON'. The case back is engraved 'a.m. 6b/60 master watch with serial number 1300 - 1942. A high quality mechanism with Breguet over-coil Elinvar type balance which is micro adjustable and a goose neck spring. Circa 1942.
