A fine bronze version of the Luxor Obelisk, relocated to Paris by Napoleon. Originally holding a thermometer. Three sides are ecorated with hieroglyphics and inscribed in French with a dedication to King Louis Philippe. Richly patinated and in excellent condition overall. Height is 28.5 cms. Preferred method of payment is by bank transfer (UK faster payment or to our €Euro account) which incurs no additional costs or charges.
