A good quality walnut chest of five drawers standing on cabriole legs dating to circa 1920's.
This well proportioned chest offers plenty of storage standing nearly four feet high.
The rectangular crossbanded and bookmatch veneered walnut top having a moulded edge sits over five graduated oak lined and hand cut dovetailed drawers each being bookmatched veneered, crossbanded and cockbeaded with brass handles enclosed by canted cornered sides.
Raised on a shaped plinth base supported by four hand carved cabriole legs with acanthus leaf decoration to the knee.
This antique walnut chest is in excellent condition having been gently restored using traditional methods and retaining a very good walnut colour.
