Georgian Oak Low Boy Side Occasional Writing Table
Antique 18C (or possibly early 19C) and oak low boy side writing occasional table. This table has early origins, but many alterations and repairs over the centuries, as is usual.
Fabulous proportions, colour age and patina.
The table is solid, with no loose joints and the drawer slides well (some internal ink stains as is to be expected).
Overall dimensions 765mmW x 470mmD x 735mmH x 550mm knee hole.
This table has a bit of historical extinct woodworm, but this has been fully treated for good measure and generally adds to the age and character of this piece.
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, distortion, imperfections, scratches, chips, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture and generally desirable. Later handles and signs of restoration and refinishing.
Stock No. 3258.
