George III oak open dresser base from the Wales and Cheshire borders c.1810. Solid oak top with an applied mahogany crossbanded edge over three drawers. Cockbeaded oak drawer fronts, also crossbanded and with period replacement brass handles. Straight apron across the front, also crossbanded along the lower edge and raised on slim tapering square stiles. Solid oak sides and back rails, deal drawer linings. Obvious wear and repairs to the top. Otherwise excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
Dimensions: width 69″, depth 17″, height 32″.
