Good example of the classic late Georgian mahogany chest of drawers c.1800. Single piece solid mahogany top with an applied moulded edge over two short and three long drawers of graduated depth. Solid mahogany drawer fronts of particularly good colour and grain with a simple scratch carved detail to the edges and brass handles. Solid mahogany sides and original shaped bracket feet front and rear. Some old wear and a repair to the top and some replacement handles and backplates of slightly different design. Otherwise very condition and original colour, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
