Antique Georgian 18th Century panelled Gothic oak settle, hall seat, bench or sofa.
Large and attractive, heavy, solid and strong, with no loose joints.
Full of charm and character. The very best patina and colour.
Great proportions and styling, which would look amazing in the right location.
A rare find, very decorative. New upholstery in a heavy weight fabric, with a natural, light oatmeal colour.
Fantastic panelled back.
Overall maximum dimensions: 184cmW x 73cmD x 101cmH (45cmH seat).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture of this age. Historic extinct woodworm holes as one would expect, that we have treated for good measure. There is an historic repair to one of the rear legs with metalwork added (all is good and strong now).
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able bodied person for our driver to assist with carrying.
