Georgian 18th Century inlaid mahogany bureau desk
Antique Georgian C1780 inlaid mahogany bureau desk or writing table.
This is a lovely bureau, that is full of age, charm and character.
No loose joints and the oak lined drawers slide freely (some marks and remnants of old paper linings inside as is to be expected).
Good shape and fantastic proportions.
A great colour.
Full of age, charm and character.
Overall maximum dimensions 105cmW x 59cmD x 109cmH (80cmH writing surface).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. There are some historic extinct woodworm holes, that we have treated for good measure. Later handles. No keys and the locks are untested. Historic repairs to feet, which are strong now.
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able bodied person(s) for our driver to assist with carrying.
