Gents WW2 Omega wrist watch, 1944/45
Gents WW2 Omega wrist watch, 1944/45.
The watch has a 30T2.SC hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed with the Omega name and the serial number 10,088,777 dates it back to 1944/45.
The watch is a good wearable size at 35mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in good condition, just a small mark to the top left lug but nothing serious at all. Original winding crown.
The inside of the case back has the Omega triangular stamp together with the case reference 2348 which is correct for the calibre 30T2.SC.
The lens is in good condition.
The signed dial is signed Omega, we believe this is the original finish which is showing signs of age but it has a charming look about it. Original feuille shaped hands, seconds sweep and minute markers.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
