Gents 9ct gold Smiths Imperial wrist watch, 1960

Gents 9ct gold Smiths Imperial wrist watch, 1960.
The watch has a 19-jewel hand-winding movement, calibre 0104, which is working nicely. The movement is signed Smiths, Made in England.
The watch measures 33.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1960 with a maker’s mark for Aaron Dennison. Dennisons made many gold cases for Smiths watches.
The case is in in beautiful condition and the back has an inscription commemorating 75 years of trading for G A Dunn & Co Ltd, the famous gents outfitters.
The lens is in lovely condition.
The signed dial has its original hands, centre seconds sweep and outer minute markers. There is some fairly light marking and freckling across the dial
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
