A fine quality gents 18K gold pocket watch by Cozens, Matthews & Thorpe of London. A gold dial with gold floral accents, raised numerals and a seconds dial. The outer case with chased decorations to the edges and finely decorated case rear. A well engraved lever keywound mechanism with a diamond endstone signed by makers. Case inner marked 18 K gold and date mark for 1860. The watch is in remarkably good condition showing little use for the age.

Cozens, Matthew's & Thorpe are recorded as working at Bunhill Row in London from 1851-1881.
