Fruitwood Inlaid Marble Top Commode
Very elegant 19th century Louis XVI style inlaid fruitwood marble top commode of three full width drawers.
The original shaped and moulded edge marble top in this pale grey and white with the pale inlaid fruitwood give a lighter feel than some of the rich mahogany tones.
Good condition, all brass inlay is complete and the marble is fabulous too.
Great piece of decorative French 19th century antique furniture.
Measuring:
33 3/4 inches or 85.5 cm high
18 1/2 inches or 47 cm deep
44 1/2 inches or 113 cm wide Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
