French Walnut Double Bed (King Size)
We have just finished giving this walnut double bed a good clean and it is now looking pretty good with a mellow colour in the timbers. Finish is bright and clean and it is nice and solid. This bed from early 1900s has had an update by Seventh Heaven, probably cost quite a bit in fact. It is now made to take a 5ft king size mattress, not common for one of these, and to suit the taller person it will take a mattress of 6ft 8/9 inches.
There is a bed base supplied with this bed which is nice and clean otherwise we would have disposed of it. You will only need a matress of choice to be able to sleep all night. The bed which boasts good carving and a most attractive sun burst effect in the graining on both the head and the foot board, it comes to pieces for delivery or collection and has all the bolts etc to assemble in its new home. SORRY NOW SOLD We have been in business for 40 years and are now coming up to retirement. We are in consequence looking to reduce our stock, Delivery can be arranged with a specialist carrier for around £70 to most areas. We now open by appointment, but we are often open Fridays and Saturdays, but cannot guarantee,( our sign will be out if passing ) it is worth ringing before coming.Tel 01565 874075
