This French Walnut bed from circa 1900 or possibly a touch later is in good tidy condition. It has had a new support structure made and clearly for a tall person. Normally 4ft 6ins by 6ft 3ins this one is UK king size width at 5ft but a fantastic 81 inches long. Thats an extra 3inches on the normal king size bed which is usually 6ft 6ins. We have cleaned this bed in our workshops and given it a good polish, actually a bit lighter than our pictures suggest it is ready for a good night's sleep. It is a superb shape with good flowing lines and a most handsome carving to the head board.
We can supply a bed base free of charge that is fully sprung. This however does need reupholstery which we could possibly get done for you if required.
All this for a very modest £475. ..........RESERVED........... We have been in business for 40 years and are now coming up to retirement. We are in consequence looking to reduce our stock, Delivery can be arranged with a specialist carrier for around £70 to most areas.
