French Louis XVI style salon sofa c.1950. Shapely walnut frame with extensive carved detail. Slightly curved oval backrest topped with a Classical urn detail, padded arms on swept supports and sprung seat all recently upholstered in a pretty purple and gold flatweave fabric. Raised on turned and reeded legs, slightly splayed at the rear for stability. With a slight stain to the seat, otherwise excellent condition.
