French Round Marble Top Gueridon Table
Super quality late 19th century French fiddleback mahogany inlaid round marble top gueridon centre table with original brass mounts and a fully galleried top, circa 1890 and in lovely condition.
Interesting marble top being Breche d’alep with the contrast to the rich fiddleback mahogany, complimented by the brass mounts.
The table has one drawer to the frieze, stands on very elegant ebony and box wood inlaid tapered legs with a display pot board shelf.
Great decorative table and of a good size too.
Measuring:
31 1/4 inches or 79.5 cm high
26 1/4 inches or 66.5 cm diameter Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
