French Pine 2 Piece Buffet / Dresser %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
Dating to the end of the 19th century, this super 2 piece French pine Buffet is in very good all round condition. It stands split bun feet with a moulded plinth.
The base section is flanked with turned columns and to the inside there is a single shelf which is enclosed with a pair of panel doors complete with applied geometric moulding and original working lock. The frieze drawers run with ease and have later brass handles.
The top section has 1 shelf to the inside and is enclosed with a pair of moulded doors which matches the base doors, it also has it's original working lock with key. This section is again flanked to each side by a pair turned columns and is topped by a traditional ogee moulded cornice.
This is a lovely piece of French antique furniture and would compliment the dining room of any home traditional or modern.
Commensurate with it's age, there has in the past been a small amount of insect attack to the Buffet but it has all been sprayed with a 5 star 20 year treatment..
The Buffet measures
base
53.5inches wide
20.25 inches deep
36.5 inches high.
top is 55.5 inches to outside of cornice, 11 inches deep internal and has an over all height of 68 inches.
The cost to deliver this Buffet to England, Wales and Scotland (Glasgow to Edinburgh) is £75.00.
