Beautiful early 20th.c. painted armoire or wardrobe by the celebrated Paris design house of Gouffé c.1930. Two door wardrobe divided into two halves with a hanging rail, adjustable shelves, a single drawer and mirrors to the inside of both doors. Great design with curving sides, a moulded cornice, carved apron and legs with scroll foot. Shaped door panels with original hand painted decoration of figures in an imaginary garden. Some tarnish to the mirrors, otherwise excellent condition with only very minor wear to the paintwork. Key supplied. Original Gouffé label inside the drawer. Disassembles for ease of delivery.
