French Marble Top Coffee Table With Drawers
Really lovely quality and useful size French Neo Classical round marble top coffee table, or lamp table with two drawers and slides.
This type of table with the drawers and slides is known as a "Bouillotte" table which was a gambling card game, hence the two slides and drawers.
The top of this low table has its original Carrara marble and pierced brass gallery, standing on elegant turned and fluted legs with brass caps to the feet.
Useful size table for a side lamp table or coffee table and in good condition.
Measuring:
20 3/4 inches or 52.5 cm high
23 3/4 inches or 60.5 cm diameter Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
