Round drop leaf French Farmhouse Table.
A beautiful table in very good condition. Late 19th century.
Mellow honey coloured cherry wood.
Dimensions: 49.5 inches Diameter, 29.5 inches High. Seats 4 - 6.
The 2 drop down leaves make this a very versatile piece that can be used as a side table, a small kitchen dining table with one leaf down against a wall, or fully opened as a handsome circular table.
There is a good overhang to the top and the leaves are supported by sliding lopers, which means there is ample leg room all around the table, with no 'gate leg'. to impede sitting positions.
It has well turned legs and original brass pronged castors with wooden turned wheels
The close up photo show some superficial damage to the top along the edges of one of the rule joints caused by worm that had gotten into the sapwood - now long dead of course. ALL OF OUR PRICES INCLUDE FREE UK MAINLAND DELIVERY.
