French Cherrywood Commode Chest Of Drawers
Fantastic large original early c19th French solid cherrywood commode chest of drawers.
Four full width drawers, one of them located in the "freize" with finger pulls below, then the three below you can see with their original brass handles and escutcheons.
Great colouring to the cherrywood and in good condition throughout. All drawers running well and great for storage.
There are not too many French chests around with wooden tops, so it's nice to find one with its original cherry top.
Usual signs of age through use, but have all polished up well with plenty of beeswax.
Good decor piece but a great bedroom piece giving so much storage space.
Measuring:
36 3/4'' or 93.5cm high
53 1/2'' or 136cm wide
25'' or 63.5cm deep
