This is a charming piece, it is made from one piece of Wood and dates from the 19th Century, it has been superbly and brilliantly crafted, the stand is hinged and made from one piece of cherry

The stand is decorated with pierced shapes, this piece probably came from a chapel as the decoration has a religious look
A charming piece and quite the cleverest design I have ever seen and in excellent used condition, but has been attacked by French wood worm this is historical and quite dead

The stand is 19” high, 10” wide
