French Carved Mahogany and Walnut Rocco Bombe Double Bed
This is a superb quality piece, the bed is an unusual bombe shape, both the foot and headboard have a bowed shape, which is exaggerated by the quartered veneering. The bed ends and sides have carved swag and crest decoration, which is carried through to the carved cabriole legs.
This is a very heavy quality bed and a very impressive piece, it is good and sound, with minor chipping to the carving
The bed head is 69” wide and 64” high, and it takes a standard 4ft 6” x 76” long mattress
