Victorian Stool - Compact Size - c1870

This lovely Victorian period stool is a charming example and a useful size.

The stool displays a pleasing shape and is good for use as a footstool or a low stool to sit upon.
The upper is covered with a quality textile with chenille detailing and displays well with matching lower brocade.

A mahogany carved lower show frame with serpentine edge leads to attractively shaped cabriole legs. The frame displays floral detailing to both the rails and corners.

Overall a lovely footstool and piece of antique furniture which is both functional and looks gorgeous.
