Fine quality Victorian oak pedestal desk. The nine drawers of a good hand cut dovetailed construction with mahogany linings and the original turned knob handles. With rounded corners, hand carved mouldings and a later, solid oak plynth. With turn catches to hold down the top and bearing an old paper label ‘Edwards and Roberts’. With a new, full hide, leather top.
