Fabulous Large Antique Oak Astragal Bookcase.
This is a superb quality made, solid oak bookcase of impressive proportions.
Originally made around 1900 for the Royal Grammar School in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
The top bookcase section has six astragal doors with two adjustable shelves behind.
The base section has six solid oak doors which all have a raised panel, inside the base are two fixed shelves and a period paper label with the schools details.
This antique oak bookcase is a great piece, very good quality throughout, well chosen timber and a lovely colour.
Now in Miles Griffiths antiques showrooms in Clitheroe, Lancashire.

How much is delivery and how long does it take?
We can arrange delivery throughout England, Wales and Scotland. If you would like a delivery quote, please contact us with your postcode and we will get back to you with a price. Delivery is usually within 10 working days.

Standard delivery is with a one man courier and it is a door to door service. If you require a two man courier, please let us know at the time of purchase.

Smaller items will be sent with a parcel courier. We wrap and book parcels in once a week on Thursdays. If you require an item quickly, please let us know and we can arrange this.

Terms and conditions

We offer a 14 day return service if you are not happy with the item. This is providing that items are returned within 14 days and are in the same condition that they left us in. The cost of returning the goods must be covered by you. We will refund you on the items return.
