This is a large, important, four door breakfront bookcase. It is Edwardian, dating to around 1910 and has arch, Gothic astragals and stands on Georgian style bracket feet. It is wonderful quality. The shelves are adjustable and the glass doors retain their original locks and key. The mahogany is in good polished order and there is no sign of damage or wear.

This is a magnificent cabinet and will look good when filled with books and objet d'art. It is very opulent looking when the light catches the individual astragals and this will look magnificent in a home library or principal room furnished in antiques.

The bookcase is 72 inches long and 49 inches high and 14.5 inches deep
