charming early oak stool by Robert 'mousey' Thompson of Kilburn, North Yorkshire.
the slightly dished adzed top raised on octagonal shaped legs united by stretchers, one leg with the trademark carved mouse signifying " industry in quiet places ".
with marks and scuffs which may possibly be able to be removed however we prefer to leave this lovely piece in its original untouched condition.
