One for a collector or connoisseur from howard & son. Of immense proportions. I have only ever seen one other like it in the last twenty years with the design on that one with the head rest the opposite way around. The design itself is far ahead of it''s time being multi functional as a restful chaise longue with the barrel end to put your feet on and serving as an arm rest for sitting in it like an armchair- the seat is tremendously deep seated as you would expect from a howard. It was re-upholstered approx 20 years ago in howard blue ticking by balding design ltd in wiltshire,there is a picture of this chaise on their website. There is also included in one of the images a pair of extra seat cushions. Image 2. Owned by corsham estates ltd a hotel group also based in wiltshire of which there is plenty of info out there on them. With howard paper label to underside along with corsham property owner label.
