Early Georgian 18C and later oak stool chair footstool
Antique early Georgian, 18C and later oak stool.
Decorative and attractive, with no loose joints or wobbles.
Beautiful, with so much age and rustic charm.
Rare and aesthetically very pleasing.
Great proportions and styling, which would look amazing in the right location.
The seat has recently been reupholstered in a very heavy weight upholstery fabric, with only light wear and marks.
Overall maximum dimensions
48cmW x 40cmD x 42cmH (when sat on).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture of this age. Historical repairs, as is the norm, but all is solid now. We have not inspected components concealed beneath the upholstery. This stool has had historical alteration and many components replaced as is always the way with this type of item. Historical woodworm, believed extinct, that has been treated for good measure.
