This good looking and very detailed early 20th century English mahogany writing desk is a Sheraton Revival desk, inlaid with ornate satinwood detailing of scrolls, bows and ferns as well as stringing detail along the squared tapered legs. The desk features a brass gallery along the top back edge, and a shaped top compartment on each side. It measures 48 in – 122 cm wide, 25 ¼ in – 64 cm deep and 37 in – 94 cm in height, with a knee hole height of 24 in – 61 cm. This piece would make an outstanding focal point for many different rooms and settings, both traditional and contemporary.
