Good sized early 18th.c. oak coffer c.1700. Three panel top and front with deep moulded rails and mullions. Original carved lunette frieze to the top rail and attractive scratch carved criss-cross detail to the uprights and base rail. Iron lock plate and latch. Oak panelled back and sides and floor planks. Good condition, solid and sturdy, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
