Double End Regency Mahogany Couch (c.1830)
This is a very good quality antique English mahogany Regency double scroll end couch, circa 1830 - 1840.

This is a very good quality antique English mahogany Regency / William IV double scroll end couch, circa 1830 – 1840. The frame and turned legs are constructed of solid mahogany terminating in the original brass socket castors. The frame features attractive up-swept arms with a pretty floral carved fascia with a fan motif at the end of each corner of the couch. The frame is covered in Regency stripe floral damask material. The couch features a lift up swab cushion and two bolster cushions at each end. The couch will seat 3 – 4 persons.
This item would look great in the living room, dining room or hallway of any large house. This item would compliment any home so don't miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of antique furniture.

Delivery to any address in mainland England & Wales is £85. For delivery to Scotland & Ireland, please email for a quote. If you wish to avoid the delivery cost, you can collect the item in person. We will inform you by email and/or telephone and provide you with full delivery details including when to expect delivery. Delivery times are usually 1-4 weeks (depending on location). We will contact you to arrange the delivery day please ensure you give us a contact number to aid the delivery process. Delivery includes insurance we can assure you that the packaging standard is second to none and will fully protect the item.
UK Returns & Refunds
A 7 day “no quibble” return policy (from the date you receive the item) is available if you are not happy with this item. You will be given a refund as long as the item is returned in the same condition. The buyer is required to cover the cost of transit. We will collect the item using our specialist Furniture Delivery Company to avoid any damage. We will not accept returns via a courier service due to experience of damaged items in transit. This refund policy only applies to deliveries to the UK.
UK Buyer Payment
For UK buyers, we will accept cash on collection or delivery cheque, credit card, BACS (free bank to bank transfer). Payment is requested within 5 days of the sale.
International Buyers
If you live outside of the UK and you would like to purchase this item please contact us before purchasing the item to obtain a shipping quote and delivery lead time. The arms and back of the couch are solid in joint. It has re-upholstered sometime in the past with the upholstery you see now. The braiding is in good condition and is firmly attached to the couch. There is no wear or rips to the upholstery. There is however, some minor marks to the top right hand arm (see photos). Free of wood worm, solid in joint and ready to use. Please note that in the photos the bolster cushions are sitting back to front. The bolster cushions have a central button on the end of the cushions which are not visible in the photos.
