Here we have a stunning fine quality William IV Rosewood desk or library table c1830. As you can see the desk has exceptional colour and patina. The Rosewood has been carefully selected for its fantastic grain and figure. There is a fine quality tooled and gilded leather skiver to the top. There is a Rosewood border with a thumb moulded edge. There are two drawers with solid Mahogany linings and original bun handles. To the reverse there are two faux drawers so the desk could be stood in the centre of a room. There is a high central turned stretcher and cylindrical tapered legs and block supports with beautiful Lion paw feet. The desk retains the oriignal caster to the base. A truly fine quality stunning desk in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 48 inches wide 27 deep and 30 high.
