Here we have a wonderful Queen Anne Oak coffer c1710. As you can see the coffer has exceptional colour and patina. There is a two plank top with super grain and colour. The top has a thumb moulded edge and opens to reveal a spacious interior with a candle or herb box. The chest retains the original strap hinges and a working lock and key. There are two simple fielded panels to the front. The sides and back are also paneled. The chest as you would expect is constructed using pegged mortice and tenon joints and sits on stile legs. A super period simple chest of great proportions ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 43 inches wide 22 high and 19 deep.
