This mid-century powder compact is suitable for modern loose face powder or as a handbag mirror. The lid has a traditional English rural scene showing huntsmen & their hounds at a public house. The lid has been protected well by the plastic cover & so there isn't any loss design. The compact has a very good mirror which gives a clear & accurate reflection. The original sifter is present. The base has a finely etched spiral - essentially a smooth surface & so it is suitable for engraving if desired. The whole compact is in very good condition. Measures 8.5 cm & weighs 77.4 grams.
