Chinoiserie Trunk on Stand
A Chinoiserie coffee table or storage chest in red lacquer with gold, black and silver painted scenes of a pagoda, flowering trees and Chinese people in traditional costumes. The sides having brass carrying handles and written Chinese characters. The front and back with further decoration and the trunk sits on the original stand and opens to a useful storage area with sliding shelf. Condition- very good. Dimensions:- Height…18’’/ 46cm.
