Charming 19th Century Scandinavian Hand Painted Chest
This is a really charming 19th century Scandinavian pine chest that retains its original delightful hand painted designs dating from around 1840.
The chest has wonderful colours to the paintwork with a panelled design to the front depicting stylised flowers and a central flowerpot with sunflower. The hand painted detail is in remarkably good condition with much character and the antique pine chest has a lovely warm golden colour to the exposed wood. This has a candle box to the interior which is in good clean condition. The lid has later iron hinges in good sound order.
The chest measures 101 cms wide 44 cms high by 54 cms deep.
A lovely early chest with oodles of charm.
UK delivery is by antique furniture courier and costs £60 plus vat to most destinations.
