The back of the coffer features the original rough-hewn back and original floor. This coffer has sought after proportions not being too tall. This coffer would have been commissioned for a wealthy country homeowner.
The interior is clean, dry and the coffer is practical and useable. The exterior of the coffer boasts a stunning rich oak colour patination. This item would look great in a variety of rooms from the hallway, to the living room or bedroom in front of a bed. It has a beautiful rich light oak patina, which has been generated by the centuries of cleaning and care it has received.
