Here we have a wonderful George I Walnut feather banded bureau c1720. As you can see the bureau has great colour and patina. There is a quarter veneered top with feather banded detail. The fall front has the original working lock and key. There are also quarter veneered panels and the original escutcheon and feather banded detail. The front opens to reveal a fully fitted interior with Oak lined drawers and original hinges. There are four long graduated drawers below with original brass handles and escutcheons. The drawers are all Oak lined and have hand cut dovetail joints. The whole sits on the orinal bracket feet and has original board to the rear. The bureau is in excellent condition and of small proportions. The dimensions are approx 100 cm high 92 cm wide 50 cm deep.
