Attractive Antique Oak Bureau Desk With Drawers
A lovely oak bureau. We date this bureau to the early 20th century.
The bureau comes in one main section and sits on four carved square section legs.
The drop flap is fitted with a lock (key supplied) and lowers to reveal the fitted interior, which consists of various pigeon holes and two small drawers.
The main lower section has three wide graduated drawers. The drawers are fitted with vertical brass handles.
The bureau has a height of 41" (104cm), a width of 30.5" (77cm) and a depth of 18.5" (47cm).
This lovely bureau remains in very good solid condition with only minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. The drop flap sits a little proud at the lock area and there are some minor marks to the interior.
This remains a simple yet stylish and elegant bureau. It will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
