This is a solid oak Arts & Crafts hall stand c1885-1910. It has its original metal trays to the base with square turned front legs in manner of Shapland and Petter. The tops of the front legs are mounted with flat topped mouldings showing the clear influence of the Scottish school at this point. It also retains its original double hangers and domed topped bevel edge mirror. The top moulding is also exaggerated following the Scottish school influence at this point. A lovely thing.

41 inches wide
