With three inlaid panels to the gallery, of Glasgow roses and other floral motifs, this oak bookcase is a fine piece of Arts & Crafts design and construction. The six upper panels of the glazed doors are of convex glass and the doors themselves have exposed pegs at their joints. There is extensive chequer banding and dentil moulding and the shelves are adjustable by means of rails on either side.
