Late 19th.c. carved oak kneehole desk c.1890. 48" x 26½" top with a tooled leather skiver and carved moulded edge. Over nine lockable drawers arranged around a central kneehole (17" wide x 24" tall). Solid oak drawer fronts with Art Nouveau style carved decoration and very unusual leaf-form handles. Raised and fielded panelled sides and a deep moulded plinth raised on castors below. Oak drawer linings. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied.
