Superb quality Art Deco tallboy by the celebrated English cabinet makers James Shoolbred & Co c.1925. Solid walnut top over three mahogany lined drawers of graduated height and a two door cupboard (internal depth 17"). Art Deco style inlaid marquetry panels of flowers and fruit to the doors. Beautiful inlaid detail running around the edges of the top and the front of the cabinet. Coromandel veneered plinth raised on tapering block feet with further fine inlaid detail. Original knobs. Solid walnut sides. Makers stamp to the top of the upper drawer front. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
