Art Deco Period Side Table/Writing Desk Side table occasional table writing desk %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
An very good quality Art Deco period table, which can be used as a side table, or small writing desk. This table has lovely quartered burr walnut veneers on the surface, sides and drawer fronts. The veneer is in good quality, although still retains the evidence of its age. The drawers sides and base are all in polished solid Mahogany, with hand cut dovetails and original drop handles. The Queen Anne style legs have been ebonised (black French Polish) in the typical Art Deco style. The legs also have a scollop shell carving at the top. This table has just been restored in our workshops, and is in very good condition.
