This is a stunning vintage powder compact, patent reference for 1926 - A lovely bold piece with a wonderful enamelled motto "Duty" to the top - in an engine turned silver metal (no hallmarks) it has a guilloche pattern to the base and a hatched engine turning to the top - all clasps and hinges are in good order, opening to reveal a mirror that swivels to reveal the rouge, with both owder puffs for the rouge and powder, and what is nice is that the rare "Kissproof" midget lipstick holder is also present - measuring c.2.5" inch long - all finished perfectly with a small silver finger ring - adorable, and in beautiful condition, at almost 90 years old, this little lovely is a rare & special find.
