A superb quality Victorian 19th century burr walnut marquetry inlaid credenza. This chiffonier sideboard side display cabinet is of the more rare and desirable serpentine ended form. The top is book matched veneers with a lovely elegant thumb moulded top to a concave frieze with boxwood scrolling foliate inlay to the burl walnut. The central door is further inlaid with a marquetry panel as are the convex shaped pillars. This central door is flanked by two 2 opening glazed side doors. The glass is original as are the locks and key. The whole is raised on a shaped base and with original gilt bronze / ormolu mounts. Circa 1860. This piece is in wonderful condition and has been fully restored by our qualified professional restorers to incclude a full re-line of the cabinet.
